The online BS in Health Administration Flight Path Program consists of 120 total credit
hours, including 34 hours of general education courses, 56 hours of
core health education courses, and 30 hours of non-departmental
cognate courses and electives.

credit hours and any additional transfer credits may significantly

overview of the complex health care system and the varied roles and
responsibilities of its interprofessional team of providers.
Community Based Health Orgs, NGOs: Administration and
Management
This course examines the administration and
management of community-based health organizations and NGOs, with a
focus on strategies for effective leadership, financial
sustainability, and community engagement. The course focuses on
identifying health disparities impacting local communities and
explores strategies for promoting greater health equity through
community-based programs and advocacy.
Professional Ethical Codes and Law in Health Care
Explores
how to apply ethical codes and legal frameworks that govern
healthcare professionals, providing students with the knowledge and
skills to navigate ethical codes and legal considerations in
healthcare.
Experiential Capstone
Students will have the opportunity to
apply knowledge in a managerial/administrative role with their
current employer or a community partner. Individual assignments
will be specified by a faculty advisor and will be tailored to the
student’s past work experience and forward-looking career goals.
